Photographer to sign books at museum library

ROCKLAND World-renowned photographer Joyce Tenneson will sign copies of her new book, "Shells: Nature's Exquisite Creations," from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at the Farnsworth Art Museum Library, 86 Museum St., Rockland.

This event is open to the public free of charge, and museum admission is not required.

Tenneson is on the faculty of Maine Media Workshops in Rockport, where she also has her studio after many years of working as a photographer in New York City. Next month in New Orleans, she will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Professional Photographers of America, the world's largest nonprofit association of professional photographers, with 22,000 members in 54 countries.
