Art of Local Food to benefit NRCM

NORTHPORT -- The Art of Local Food, a Tasting Party and Art Sale to benefit the Natural Resources Council of Maine’s work to protect our environment, will be held Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at The Summit of Ducktrap Mountain, at Point Lookout in Northport.

Come savor the best that Maine has to offer: wonderful local foods and drinks, live music, inspired artworks, and a breathtaking view of Penobscot Bay.

Dozens of local restaurants, farms, bakeries, and other culinary partners are teaming up to create the finest appetizers, nibbles, and desserts. And 50 Maine artists have contributed  10”x10” artworks inspired by Maine’s beauty and available for sale that evening. Cash bar featuring Maine beers, wines, and assorted liquors.

Tickets cost $40 each, all of which supports NRCM’s critical work to protect Maine’s environment ($20 of each ticket purchase is tax-deductible).
