SPI to hold BBQ

BATH —  Sagadahoc Preservation Inc. will hold a street party called   Blues and ‘Ques from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6.

The barbecue will be cooked by John James and John Marsh, featuring their wood-smoked pulled pork with Marsh’s Tallywaggers BBQ Sauce. Beans, cole slaw, corn and dessert will accompany the pork.

Music will be provided by Colwell Brothers, who last year had people dancing in the street to their blues tunes.

Blues and 'Ques will take place on Winter Street in Bath across from City Park and next to Winter Street Center.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for children ages 5-12 and free for children under 5 years of age. Advance tickets are available at Brick Store Antiques, Ornament, Now You’re Cooking and Wags & Whiskers, all in downtown Bath, or by calling 443-6605.

All proceeds from Blues and ‘Ques benefit Sagadahoc Preservation Inc. and the restoration of the Winter Street Center. Blues and ‘Ques is sponsored by Tallywaggers BBQ Sauce, made in Bath.
